Westerbork March 30th 1943

Last sign of life from Rosie’s father, written in haste thirty minutes before the train left Westerbork on its journey to the east. The train brought Rosie’s parents the following day to Sobibor. None of the passengers on the train were ever heard of or seen again

To Magda and Henk Coljee

I take this opportunity in haste to inform you that we are in transit. Affectionately, and in the hope that we will meet again soon.
